Chloé Sassi is born in 1996 in Ithaca, USA. She spent her childhood in the french countryside where she built a strong relationship to nature. Her artistic practice evolved with such raw environments, searching for « post-apocalyptic landscapes » or « transitional spaces », such as ruins, wastelands, swamps, building sites…
In her pictures, Sassi aims to elaborate situations as corporal explorations, often using the naked body as a tool.
