ISIT is a Magazine.
ISIT is both Online and Offline.
ISIT wants to be a platform that connects different art realities from the indipendent ones to the institutional. Its goal is to create a connection between different roles of the art system that usually work separately. The magazine pokes fun at the standardization of editorial structure using the content istelf: interviews and articles but also gossip colums, kitchen skills etc, questioning the flux of contemporary information.
The Mag questions itself with an absurd paradox: the paper form wants to revalue the real, letting the reader achive easily and functionally every info; the web form is somehow broken and non-functional, showing the fragile and ephemeral side of the internet.
The web form is a trick to show the realness of reality, the collective habit of ordinary information research. The website doesn’t work: you can find the whole content of the mag, but you have to struggle to read it. Banners, fake links, graphic tricks, the structure itself ingenously overshadows the content.
The reader reaches a higher state of conciousness. The Magazine wakes the reader up throught his effort, making him able to understand not just the informative content, but the concept of information itself. What is usually passively experienced by online platforms, with ISIT.ONLINE becomes an active form (the attitude of reaching informations).
The Magazine wants to show to contemporary society the real value of information, focusing on both the graphic or informative content. ISIT is an open project, there is no editorial policy, and each issue has its own identity from scratch. The guest Artists of ISIT are totally free to present a personal project able to scatter every publishing structure. Each issue has a limited edition of one piece, with an art action of the guest artist.
